This week's map demonstrates how GIS can be used to visualize patterns and trends in both population growth and arrest counts over time by examining
data collected throughout Utah over a 20-year period (1997-2017).

The first 100 years of UU’s student newspaper, The Daily Chronicle, has been digitized and placed online.

On Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Utah vs. Tulsa men’s basketball game in the Huntsman Center, the library honored Ferrin and Misaka for their contributions of personal papers, scrapbooks and photographs to Special Collections.

For over 20 years Visionaire has been publishing art multiples in partnership with world-renowned artists, fashion designers, filmmakers, and cultural icons. The result has been a publication that is utterly unique in its form and content.

DE|MARCATION was originally conceived by Amy Jorgensen to support the unique vision of artists in the state of Utah and to build on the rich discourse of image making in the region. Curated by Amy Jorgensen and Edward Bateman with included critical essays, the portfolio box, letterpress printed title, index and essay pages have been created in collaboration with Red Butte Press at the University of Utah’s Book Arts Program.

Podcasting is becoming more popular than ever and the Marriott Library has several great resources to help you create professional sounding files for any project. From checking out audio recording devices from the Knowledge Commons to recording in the Audio or Video studios the library gives you all the tools you need to create, edit, and publish podcasts.
