Laptops for Students in Need

With the support of several campus partners, the Marriott Library is now allowing students in need to borrow laptops for the remainder of Spring semester.

STUDENTS ON CAMPUS: University of Utah students who need a laptop and are on campus can request one at the Union Service Desk by presenting their UCard.

STUDENTS WHO HAVE LEFT CAMPUS: For University of Utah students who need a laptop sent to them, they should email uofuunionservicesdesk@gmail.com with their name, UNID, and mailing address. A laptop will be mailed out within two business days.

Many thanks to supporters!

My licensing Boards exam to get my certification to apply for my nurse practitioner license (along with my posted degree) can now only be taken as an online proctored exam with Prometrics. I discovered today that the reason the app to allow this exam will not properly download onto my computer is because it will not work with Apple MAC computers. Please could I borrow a PC computer from you so that I can successfully download this app, apply for an online proctor exam appointment and sit my Boards Exam. This appears to be another Covid-19 associated obstacle but I am hopeful that you will be able to help me with this problem. I live 20 minutes from Campus, so could come with my ID to pick up a PC laptop or could receive it by mail to my home: 847 South 400 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84111.
